ABOUT US Our client is a specialist contractor delivering high-performance coatings, concrete repair and infrastructure solutions across Australia. We operate across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors, delivering technically challenging projects where quality, execution and problem solving matter - from reservoir linings and protective coating systems through to concrete remediation, crack injection and specialist waterproofing applications. Our work ranges from local SEQ projects through to regional and interstate infrastructure works, with crews operating both locally and on project-based assignments depending on workload and project requirements. THE ROLE We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Leading Hand to help deliver specialist coatings, concrete repair and infrastructure projects across Australia. Depending on experience and capability, you may initially work alongside senior project leadership while taking ownership of specific work areas, crews and daily site execution, with opportunities to progress quickly into broader project leadership responsibilities. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can lead crews from the front, maintain production and quality standards, communicate proactively, and solve problems before they become issues. You'll be responsible for coordinating crews, maintaining QA and safety standards, driving productivity, and ensuring projects are delivered professionally from setup through to completion. Travel to regional and interstate project sites will form part of the role as the business continues expanding nationally. This position is not suited to someone who needs constant direction or avoids accountability. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and coordinate specialist coatings, waterproofing and concrete repair works Run daily site operations, planning and crew coordination Maintain production flow and identify bottlenecks early Conduct toolbox talks, SWMS compliance and site safety management Complete QA documentation including DFT testing, inspections and photo records Communicate proactively with clients, suppliers and internal management Identify variations, latent conditions and project risks early Maintain high presentation and workmanship standards on site Assist in mentoring and developing junior technicians ABOUT YOU Proven leadership experience within construction, remedial or specialist trades Strong understanding of coatings, waterproofing or concrete remediation systems Hands-on leadership mentality - willing to lead from the front and support crews on the tools when required Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability High standards of communication, accountability and workmanship Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to think ahead White Card and current driver's licence essential Highly regarded: Polyurea coating experience Remedial or infrastructure project experience QA/testing experience EWP, confined space or working at heights tickets Waterproofing certifications WHAT WE OFFER Competitive package Travel allowances and project-related uplift opportunities Quarterly performance bonus opportunities Permanent full-time role with long-term stability Opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-profile infrastructure and specialist projects National project exposure as the business continues expanding across Australia Career progression into larger project leadership and management roles A high-performance environment focused on accountability, quality and continuous improvement
